I am a high tech marketing professional based in Silicon Valley, CA. My educational background is in Physics and Electrical Engineering (III-V semiconductor physics and photonics). Most of my professional career has been spent in Product Management and Marketing in the wireless communications sector. Recently, I have been involved in private equity and entrepreneurship for enterprise software.
In my spare time, I am learning Java programming, data mining, and analytics. In 2003, I was awarded a patent for the application of nonlinear modeling techniques to the measurement of RF communications systems and components. It turns out that those same nonlinear modeling techniques are used in data mining! It is exciting to learn how to apply statistical models to large data sets.
